Pharmaceutical manufacturers for third-party manufacturing

Allopathic formulations are the core of third-party manufacturing in India: tablets, capsules, syrups, dry syrups, injectables, ointments and more, made at licensed plants under your brand.

What you can do here

Describe the product once — composition, dosage form, quantity, packing — and relevant verified pharmaceutical manufacturers can quote. Compare the quotes you receive side by side.

  • Post a pharmaceutical requirement in any dosage form
  • Compare manufacturer quotes on MOQ, rate and lead time
  • Read the dosage-form or manufacturing-cluster guide before you post

Choose what you need

Pick a category, dosage form, state or certification. A single choice opens its guide; a specific combination belongs in your requirement.

Manufacturer profiles

Verified manufacturer profiles are listed publicly only once they are eligible.

A manufacturer appears here only after it is fully verified and meets the standards for a public profile — never on a self-declared claim or an uploaded document alone. You don’t need a listing to reach the right partner: post your manufacturing requirement, and relevant fully verified manufacturers can quote.

What to look for in a pharmaceutical manufacturing partner

A drug manufacturing licence for the relevant section, GMP compliance under the revised Schedule M, and real capacity in your dosage form matter more than a glossy brochure. PharmXchange verification covers a manufacturer's identity and submitted documents; GMP status, Schedule M compliance and capacity are the manufacturer's to evidence and yours to check before you commit.

Common questions

Can I get products made under my own brand name?

Yes — that is the third-party manufacturing model. The manufacturer produces at its licensed facility; the brand, marketing and distribution are yours.

What decides the MOQ for a pharma product?

Mostly batch size for the dosage form and the packing you choose. Tablets and capsules typically run smaller minimums than injectables; each quote states the manufacturer's minimum for your product.

Which documents should a serious manufacturer hold?

A valid drug manufacturing licence for the relevant dosage forms and compliance with the revised Schedule M at minimum; WHO-GMP certification where export or institutional supply is the goal. Ask for copies and check their validity and scope yourself — PharmXchange verification reviews submitted documents but is not a regulatory approval.

What verification means

Verification checks a business’s identity and the documents it submits, such as licences; manufacturing scope is declared by the manufacturer. It is not a facility audit or a regulatory approval. PharmXchange does not manufacture, inspect products, guarantee quality, or become a party to transactions.
